Apple and Facebook in bed together

Apple is now offering 25 free songs every week to facebook users. Each week features a new sampler focusing on a different genre of music.

This move by Facebook strikes a deep connection with Apple who markets heavily to the college crowd. This further embeds the Apple image with students by using the Facebook-wide student group to offer free music.

Facebook is probably collecting the benefits from this exchange, likely reaping a large fee from the Cupertino, CA based computer maker for prime space on Facebook.
